Metro Detroit Sled Hockey

Metro Detroit Sled Hockey is dedicated to providing individuals with physical disabilities the chance to experience the fast-paced, competitive world of sled hockey. With programs for both youth and adults, the organization supports athletes at every level—from those just learning to skate to seasoned Paralympians. Their mission is rooted in promoting inclusion, teamwork, and personal growth, all within a supportive and empowering community. Recent highlights include winning the Tier 1 Adult 2025 Midwest Sled Hockey League Championship and the Tier 4 Adult 2025 USA Hockey Sled National Championship. They also proudly hosted the first-ever North American Women’s Sled Hockey Tournament.
